This match throws up some interesting questions the calculations show that the value is with Uruguay but at only 6% this is marginal. From what I have been reading on the Fish Tank system the minimum value should be >10% or even >15%.

The other question is that for Uruguay Suarez is suspended for the game, their captain Lugano is a serious doubt with knee problems. Columbia breezed through their group and rested 8 first team players in their last match as they had already qualified and were still confident of beating Japan which they did 4-1. Columbia have the highest current shots to goal conversion in this wc and are basically on fire. Uruguay looked lost without the Suarez and Cavani link up play.

So the real question is how much is the above information worth in terms of affecting the probabilities and therefore value. Well I am going for at least 15% to 20% which is of course subjective.

This bet is widely available here in N.ireland and I have a local bookie whom I bet with reguarly but I am wise enough to spread my bets around.I actually use this system as a cover bet for my full bet as in I use only 1 spread were the risk is higher but so is the return and my stakes are generally covered by the permed bet eg If I do a 2pt double it returns me a profit of approx 6.5pts where the permed bet returns after stakes around 3.5 pts profit.Over the week I would hit the target with the permed bet on average 4 times at least a week giving me a weekly profit of 14pts after stakes which covers my single double bet so I do rarely lose over the week but as you can see from this week I have made a great profit as I invested twice in the correct winning double distance spread.I know this may sound complicated but I have been using this system for over 5 years now and it has served me well I dont have roi figures for it but I live comfortably off it.I am at the point now where I stake 10pts on single bets and 5pts on double bets 1pt=£10.
